I've reviewed Mailfence Mailfence Review (2026): Plans, IMAP Access & Encryption Mailfence is a Belgian email provider built around OpenPGP and a paid-first model. Here is what each plan really includes (IMAP needs Entry, not Base), how its encryption works in practice, and who it suits compared with Proton Mail and Fastmail. Read my review

Track record

No known breaches
Known data breaches
✓ None on record for mailfence.com

From public sources, last read on 31 October 2026: breaches from Have I Been Pwned (CC BY 4.0), which lists breaches of the provider's own site, not of every account that uses it; incidents as the provider reports them. None of this changes my stars.

My automatic checks last ran on 31 October 2026. Server countries come from their IP addresses (IP geolocation by DB-IP), and big providers often run servers in many countries. Blocklists are the free lists that answer public look-ups.
