Email provider news

I had a robust system of filters and folders to sort all of the newsletters/updates/promotions/etc that I turned off to use Category View, but right now the system doesn't learn when I move emails out of Primary into different categories, so my Primary inbox is always really cluttered with lower-priority emails.

I purchased a 2-year VPS hosting plan from Hostinger, and within the very first week, my server was suspended without warning. They asked me to submit my company documents for verification, which I immediately provided.

I really appreciate everything the team has been doing to try to help users organize their mailbox, but unfortunately with the new Category view, it's getting more complicated than ever. We have folders, filters, labels, and now Category view, we have "Primary," "Social," "Promotions," and "Newsletters." (Yes, I know…

Is there any chance that the Tuta app can get modified so I can swipe right to delete an email? Or give us a bucket of options and we can set our left and our right swipes to whatever we choose? Thanks for attending my Ted talk.

Hi. I am using the beta of the migration assistant. I have migrated 3 different accounts. There was some overlap between the 3 accounts meaning some emails sent to me initially were in all 3 accounts.

Hello there, Been a Proton user for close to 7 years now. I appreciate so much what you're building, and the way you do it. As time goes on, considering the global context, it makes so much sense. It's not perfect obviously, and in this sub people get frustrated a lot (because they care).

I purchased a hosting and domain bundle in May 2025, with hosting paid through 2029. In November 2025, I received a "free" offer to upgrade to the Premium plan at no extra cost, which I accepted.

This was posted a year ago, pointing out problems in open source app distribution. Proton responded with we have fallen short on this issue for some of our products, like Calendar. In most of these cases, the root cause is that we have planned or are already in flight with some serious codebase changes, which will…

I am trying to transition to using DDG browser all the time but I am very frustrated by some issues. Number one being that DDG will not autofill my email address despite being enabled in settings. Any suggestions on a fix? It’s a bit ridiculous. Thanks

Hello, actually with every email i use to send to my business partners i have to fill out a CAPTCHA, and it's pretty annoying. Is possible to desactivate it?

I renewed my.sbs domain after it expired. Support says it's renewed to 2028, but hPanel still shows "Expired" with the old date, and the registry still points it at Hostinger's dns-expired.com nameservers. It's been about 9 hours. Support(fricking AI bot) says to wait up to 24 hours.

Turning on Personal Intelligence gives the company more data for ad targeting.

How do I find out how much space my emails take up?

If you’re an Android user, you’ve probably trusted Google with mountains of your own personal data over the last couple of decades. I am thinking about switching my email provider so I am comparing them at the moment. What I want is that addy forwards all emails to both of the emailadresses. When I select a single alias I can select multiple recipients, however when I go to default recipient I can only choose 1 emailadres.

Hey everyone, I am not asking for the Proton Browser to be created nor do I want to say that it shouldn’t be created in this post. I just wanted to give my two cents to the current situation. As most of you already know the Proton Browser that is supposedly coming will be based on chromium.

So I'm looking to de-google when BF deals drop for Proton Unlimited, but I'm conflicted on best practices to organize emails by account type or tier (see below). Ideally I would avoid vendor lock-in by bringing custom domains into SimpleLogin, but isn't that easy to connect in data leaks?
