Email move
Members onlyMove your mailbox without losing a single message. Switching to a new email service? Bring all your old emails and folders across safely. Your old account stays completely untouched: we simply copy your messages over in the background.
Free for membersOne move a month, up to 10 GB
They go straight from your old mailbox into your new one. Nobody looks at them.
We keep no copy of your emails. If you upload a mail file, it's deleted within minutes of the move finishing, along with your passwords and everything else we held for the move.
We only read from it. Nothing there is deleted, moved or changed, so all your old folders stay just as they are.

How it works in 4 simple steps
- Connect your new account
Choose where you are moving from and to, then sign in to your new account using a temporary app password. We'll send a quick test message so you know it's working.
- Choose your old mail
Sign in to your previous account so we can copy your emails across (we only ever read it), or simply upload an export file such as Google Takeout.
- Review your folders
Your folders (and Gmail labels) will appear in your new account. You can rename them or untick folders you don't want to keep, such as Spam or Bin.
- Relax and let it run
Press Start and close your browser. The move carries on quietly in the background and we email you the moment everything is finished.
Moving from a mail file
Go to Google Takeout, press "Deselect all", tick Mail and export. Google emails you a .zip or .tgz: choose it here as it arrives.
Apple Mail, Thunderbird and most other mail apps can save a mailbox as an .mbox file. Choose that file here.
Your browser reads the file first to count your emails and folders. Nothing is sent until you press Start, and the file is deleted as soon as your move finishes. If a move stops and isn't carried on within 2 days, we delete everything we kept for it.
Your passwords are kept locked while the move runs and forgotten the moment it finishes. Use app passwords made just for the move, so you can cancel them afterwards.
