Google Calendar Looks forward to a facelift
Google announces a major overhaul for their desktop Calendar in their 2017 RoadMap. It’s been a long time coming but come Q4 this year and we can look forward to a new fresh design.
In the roadmap, Google states that some of the features coming to Google Calendar include rich text in event notes on the web, a side-by-side calendar day view, contact details in the calendar, and “discoverability” of secondary calendars.
I use Google Calendar every day and have seen many updates for their mobile apps but very little for the desktop version. We will have to wait and see how fresh the new look will be and what improvements the new version will be have, but fingers crossed, it will be worth the wait.
